WORK EXPERIENCE - Bookkeeping, Accounts & Payroll
WORK EXPERIENCE - Home Study
We have designed a Home Study programme that will enable you to gain practical experience cost-effectively, and also receive a professional IAB qualification in Small Business Financial Management.
The overall aim of the training in Bookkeeping, Accountancy & Payroll programme is to give delegates practical work experience and accredit the knowledge and skills of delegates relevant to the fundamentals of financial and payroll management relating to businesses.
We have carefully designed and structured our modules to give delegates the necessary skills to enable them to understand, prepare accounts and do pay-runs from source documents. All modules have been designed around a set of circumstances that a delegate is likely to come across in their business or work place.
Work Experience can be any employment, paid or voluntary, that builds on your experience of life in the work place. Employers value work experience. It will help you develop an understanding of the world of work, equipping you with the skills and attitudes necessary to prepare you for employment.
Within the modules, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills associated with the key financial and payroll management tasks to be performed by those operating businesses. Specifically, you will be able to perform tasks relating to the keeping of records, VAT, payroll, the preparation and interpretation of final accounts, taxation and reporting to HMRC, costing and pricing of products, management of working capital and financial planning and control.
